Where to now
"Where to Now"
Add to your art collection a beautiful and very personal painting of travel "Where to Now"
My Fathers journey's included many miles of travelling on Noongar Boodja and visiting many places
A weekend drive would be to pack up our family, the hot plate and bricks, wood and food, dad, mum and 4 siblings would set out earlier in the morning playing games like eye spy, or a letter starting with, We stopped at many places along the road either to light a fire for lunch, or to stop and learn about the bush or city we had travelled to. Our journeys were always for the duration of the day, our journeys saw us watch the sun rise and the sunset. When we all got back in the car someone would always shout out "Where to Now" dad.
The middle of the circles represent water holes, the circles with lines and dots represent the many areas travelled, where my family has stopped and connected to land, dad and mum sharing many stories. The circles also represnt and happy camp (home) growing up with much love and support.
